Abstract

The ASEAN Guidelines on Promoting Responsible Investment in Food, Agriculture and Forestry (ASEAN RAI) is the official document adopted by the ASEAN Ministers of Agriculture and Forestry (AMAF) in October 2018. The document includes the 10 individual Guidelines, which cover topics from food security to climate change mitigation to regional cooperation. The adoption of these Guidelines provides the license to operate for the 2020 – 2030 Action Plan. The Guidelines were written with input from 200+ comments from private, public and civil society sector stakeholders, and are targeted at ASEAN Member States.
